I have been using the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard for about 7 months. It is the first mechanical keyboard that I have tried, and I have loved it so far. The mechanical feeling and the clicky response from the keys is something that I prefer way more than a membrane keyboard. This keyboard has improved my typing speed and made my gaming experience a lot better. Even with sound cancelling headphones, the click and the audio feedback help me to know when I have hit a key. I will say that after you have become very comfortable with this keyboard, typing on a membrane keyboard will probably be a bit more difficult. At first, the multimedia keys were a little bit tricky for me to use because you also had to hold the function key, but it quickly became muscle memory. Being able to adjust audio, disable the windows key while gaming, and record macros on the fly is a big advantage to using this keyboard. Although I do not have the chroma version, letting you choose from 16.8 million different colors, the green back lighting is very helpful when using the keyboard at night. With a lifespan of up to 80 million key strokes, I think that I will continue to use this keyboard for a very long time. Overall, I would give this keyboard an 8/10, and I recommend it if the noise is not an issue or if it is something that you prefer.
